Celebrate Black History Month!

Celebrate Black History Month with us at Bear Branch Tavern. We honor Black innovation and resilience by spotlighting Tom Bullock (1872 - 1964), a pre-prohibition bartender, and the first Black man to publish a cocktail manual. This trailblazer paved the way for future generations by proving that People of Color could find success in the historically white bar industry.
For the month of February, celebrate Tom Bullock's triumph over adversity, and delight in 100-year-old cocktails curated from his book, "The Ideal Bartender.

This year, we're featuring two cocktails from "The Ideal Bartender." The Gin Squash, made with gin, lemon juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, sugar, and a splash of club soda. And, the Irish Rose, a bourbon cocktail with lime juice and homemade grenadine.
